Secretary Spellings talks with Craig Barrett, Chairman of the Board, Intel, in Washington, D.C., where she accepted the Semiconductor Industry Association's 2007 Leadership Award. Secretary Spellings accepts the Semiconductor Industry Association's 2007 Leadership Award.  The award was given to Secretary Spellings for her leadership on the American Competitiveness Initiative.
Secretary Spellings talks with Senator John Cornyn (Texas) in Washington, D.C., where they, along with Congressman George Miller (California), received the Semiconductor Industry Association's 2007 Leadership Award. Secretary Spellings speaks at the Semiconductor Industry Association breakfast in Washington, D.C.  She discussed the important role of the business community in improving American education and policy actions needed to ensure America's competitiveness in the global economy.
