Air and Waste Management Association Master Thesis Award

Ms. Kristen M. James is the recipient of the 2009 Air and Waste Management Association's
First Place Master Thesis Award.  The title of her thesis is "The Development of U.S. Ammonia
Emission Factors for Use in Process Based Modeling."
 Her research was supported
by a competitive grant on the Characterization and Fate of Ammonia and Hydrogen Sulfide from
Animal Feeding Operations: Their Emissions, Transport, Transformations
, which was awarded to
North Carolina State University through the CSREES National Research Initiative.
