Research Interests My research focuses on hydrologic processes, application of remote sensing to hydrology, water quality modeling in the watershed, and development of decision support systems for water resources management. I am currently collaborating with GLERL scientists to develop a distributed model for watershed hydrology and water quality assessment and its application to the Great Lakes basin. I am also cooperating with scientists at the Department of Atmospheric, Oceanic and Space Sciences of the University of Michigan to improve precipitation estimation over the Great Lakes and at the Georgia Institute of Water Resources and NASA-Godard Space Flight Center for developing new methodologies for remote sensing of precipitation.
