Al Anon and Alateen 12 Step Meetings

Support group meetings for family and friends of a person with a substance use problem. It was initially started to help family and friends of alcoholics. Alateen is for younger family and friends of a person with a substance problem. The website provides information in English, Spanish and French.

The web site provides information in English, Spanish, and French. "Alcoholics Anonymous® is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI)

NAMI provides local peer and family support groups free to the community. This can be complementary programming for a co-occurring program that provides community support groups that address alcohol and drugs. Resources are available in various languages.
