CIRCULAR LETTER NO. 721February 10, 2009 TO: Printing and Publishing Officials of the Federal Government SUBJECT: Rider Requisitions for the first Budget Document from President Obama Later this month, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) will issue a single budgetary document entitled: A New Era of Responsibility: Renewing America's Promise. This document will provide a description of the new Administration's economic policies and major budgetary initiatives. This document is a prelude to the full FY-2010 Budget transmittal package expected this spring. Details regarding the full budget package for FY-2010 will be announced at a later date. This first budget document will have a paper cover and is expected to comprise between 150 and 200 pages. Although we can not determine an exact rider rate, your requisition prior to production will allow production of your copies during the regular press run at substantial savings. However, the cost of this document ordered via a rider requisition will not exceed $8.00 per copy. Please note that rider rates apply to single destination, local delivery. Mailing charges, if incurred, will be added to your charges. To take advantage of the rider rates, forward your requisitions by February 20, 2009. Requisitions should be submitted by one of the three following methods: Addressed and mailed to Agency Publishing Services, Requisition Section, Mail Stop CSA, U.S. Government Printing Office, Washington, DC 20401; emailed to requisition@gpo.gov; or efaxed to (202) 478-1762. Your agency's authorized personnel as reflected in our agency signature file must sign all requisitions submitted. Please be sure to indicate GPO Jacket No. 217-770 on your requisition. Field or regional activities should coordinate their requirements with their Washington, DC area headquarters' printing officers before ordering. If you have any questions, please contact Debbie DeCesaris or Brian Coleman, Senior Agency Publishing Specialist on 202 512-0319 or 512-0455. Sincerely, Managing Director, Print Procurement |
