Fact Sheets

To address issues of a timely nature in a brief format, COCE prepared brief fact sheets on various topics related to co-occurring disorders. The fact sheets currently available are identified below.

  1. Disaster Events and Services for Persons with Co-Occurring Disorders Available now in PDF

    In the aftermath of a disaster event, both immediate and long term needs of affected individuals must be met. Mental illness and substance use issues are included in the needs that should be assessed. This Fact Sheet was developed to assist in understanding the special and sometimes complex needs of persons with co-occurring disorders.

  2. Sample State Resources on Co-Occurring Disorders Available now in PDF

    State Administrators who are interested in developing or enhancing services and systems to address individuals with co-occurring disorders may be interested in requesting technical assistance and other services through COCE. These services are available at no charge, but there is a process for making requests and receiving SAMHSA approval. The attached Fact Sheet describes the services available, provides case examples, and includes contact information for requesting assistance.
