Bay Area Digital Media -- Going Global

Take your digital media/digital entertainment company overseas.

The U.S. Commercial Service of the U.S. Department of Commerce, with a field office in San Francisco and offices in 82 countries, is here to take your digital media/digital entertainment company overseas. Our San Francisco office is located in the financial district, and our overseas offices are the commercial sections of the U.S. embassies and consulates. Our mission is to increase export sales of U.S.-based manufacturers and service providers.

How Can We Help You?
The U.S. Commercial Service can assist you in the following ways:

  • Provide free counseling with a conference call to any of our offices in 82 countries, to discuss and evaluate how your firm might play into the local or regional market

  • Arrange in-country business appointments with your wish-list of identified business partners or local firms suggested by our market evaluation. This is done through the Gold Key Matchmaking Service as is a cost-recovery fee or $700 per day of meetings. Your company also receives an embassy briefing as well as travel advice and access to embassy interpreters for an additional fee.

  • Due dilligence, trade complaints, and advocacy. Are you in the process of negotiating with a foreign firm and would like due dilligence? Have you already signed an agreement with a foreign company and they are not holding up to their end of the contract? Are you a finalist for a project or tender in a foreign country and would like the USG to advocate on your behalf? We may be able to assist in certain cases of the abovementioned.

Please see the "International Market Intelligence" tab to the left for our most recent international ICT market research reports.  This page is updated weekly.
