    Alliance Overview.

    The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the Independent Electrical Contractors of Greater Cincinnati, Inc. (IEC) recognize the value of establishing a collaborative relationship to foster safer and more healthful American workplaces. OSHA and IEC therefore agree to form an Alliance to use their collective expertise to help foster a culture of prevention while sharing best practices and technical knowledge.

  2. Implementation Team Meetings

    Four meetings were held at the IEC chapter locations to track progress and formulate activities to forward the Alliance. The meetings were held September 2007, January 2008, March 2008, and April 2008.

  5. Upcoming Milestones

    The chapter of the Independent Electrical Contractors wishes to pursue VPP status in 2008/2009. Their application is in process. The Alliance continues promotion of workplace safety and health throughout the Greater Cincinnati Area by conducting training, seminars or presentations on fall, electrical, struck-by and trenching hazards.
