A number of not-for-profit organizations offer free or low cost literature regarding specific health conditions. They may also publish newsletters and magazines and may have local chapters, affiliates, or support groups in your area. If you cannot leave your house or live in an isolated area, you may also be able to find a pen pal or online support group.
