    On August 21, 2009, Ambassador Matthew Barzun presented his credentials to His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf, in a formal ceremony marking the official recognition of a foreign Ambassador in Sweden. Accompanied by his family, 38-year-old Ambassador Barzun is the second-youngest U.S. Ambassador to serve in Sweden.
