From testing our technology to its licensing (by the example of BS Contact VRML/X3D)

1. BS Contact VRML/X3D shall be downloaded as Test Version for testing purposes. The 3D software is not limited in its functionality. In the beginning a turning logo of Bitmanagement is displayed in the lower right corner, which is marking the test version of the software.

2. There is an online Users Guide available explaining how to use BS Contact VRML/X3D.

3. The Process of Clearing is illustrated schematically and describes the steps from testing our technology to its licensing.

4. A description of the functions and features of BS Contact VRML/X3D can be found in the Product Description.

5. The BS SDK Package supports integration of BS Contact VRML/X3D in third party applications (e.g. documentation and tools for optimization of content or programming of interfaces with third party products).

6. Licensing scheme for use of our 3D software:

   BS Contact VRML/X3D can be enabled by Bitmanagement in principal for:

   1. the Internet/Intranet usage by domain-address or URL
   2. use on a CD ROM (e.g. by content data)
   3. use on a single computer by computer ID (e.g. by computer name)
   4. integration in your software or hardware products and service concepts (application license via combination with your specific third party product)
   5. broad integration of the visualization component by elemination of Bitmanagement corporate identity (e.g. start screen of menue) and takeover of customer corporate identity

   Other ways of clearing to be discussed.

   Clearing means here technically that after licensing the restriction of BS Contact VRML/X3D - the turning logo - will be removed by Bitmanagement via a license key. That "Registered Version" is from this time on licensed for agreed upon usage.

   The latest version of BS Contact VRML/X3D may be downloaded at a time.

7. Usage of BS Contact VRML/X3D, BS Contact MPEG-4, BS Contact J, BS Optimizer, BS Exporter and BS SDK Package has to be agreed upon.

   Bitmanagement offers single contracts for one-time purchases, framework agreements for multiple purchases and co-operation agreements.

   In our internet concept our 3D software is updated periodically free of charge. Updates are included in our licensing agreements.

Bitmanagement offers support on hourly rates or based on a frame agreement. For development of specific funktionality or requirements by customers we are calculating on project base and offer for a flat price. Development is normally integrated in the 3D software and thus enhances the Software Package.
