CIRCULAR LETTER NO. 726April 20, 2009 TO: Printing and Publishing Officials of the Federal Government SUBJECT: Rider Requisitions for the FY 2010 Budget of the U.S. Government (bound volumes and CD-ROM) Summary Tables, Budget of the U.S. Government, FY 2010 contains a set of summary tables updated and expanded from the February FY 2010 President’s Budget overview. (Paper $3.50) Appendix, Budget of the U.S. Government, FY 2010 presents detailed information on the various appropriations and funds that constitute the budget. It includes for each Government department and agency the text of proposed appropriations language, budget schedules for each account, legislative proposals, explanations of the work to be performed and the funds needed, and proposed general provisions applicable to the appropriations of entire agencies or groups of agencies. (Paper $29.00) Analytical Perspectives, Budget of the U.S. Government, FY 2010 contains analyses that are designed to highlight specific program areas or provide other significant presentations of budget data that place the budget in perspective. The Analytical Perspectives volume also contains a CD-ROM with information previously published in Analytical Perspectives and other budget documents, including the Budget by Agency and Account and the Detailed Functional tables. (Paper $12.00) Historical Tables, Budget of the U.S. Government, FY 2010 provides data on budget receipts, outlays, surpluses or deficits, Federal debt and Federal employment over an extended period of time, generally from FY 1940 or earlier and ending in FY 2010 or 2014. To the extent feasible, the data has been adjusted to provide consistency with the FY 2010 Budget and to provide comparability over time. (Paper $8.00) Budget CD-ROM. The CD-ROM contains all the budget documents in fully indexed Adobe Acrobat (PDF) format, as well as many of the tables in the budget in spreadsheet format. (CD-ROM per disk $9.00) The planned release of the Budget of the U.S. Government, FY 2010 is early May 2009. The number of pages will not be known until the last moment. We will make every effort to hold these prices, but the actual rider rates may have to be adjusted. However, the approximate costs shown should be sufficient for budgeting purposes. (Note that rider rates apply to single destination, local delivery. Mailing charges, if incurred, will be added to your account.) Rider requisitions WILL NOT be accepted after April 28, 2009. Requests for advance copies cannot be honored. NOTE: Field or regional activities should coordinate their requirements with their Washington, DC, area headquarters' printing officers before submitting any paperwork. “Requisitions should be submitted by one of the three following methods: Addressed and mailed to Agency Publishing Services, Requisition Section, Mail Stop CSA, U.S. Government Printing Office, Washington, DC 20401; emailed to requisition@gpo.gov; or faxed to (202) 512-1260. Your agency’s authorized personnel as reflected in our agency signature file must sign all requisitions submitted.
