Interdisciplinary Toxicology Program

The UAMS Interdisciplinary Toxicology (INTOX) Program is a joint effort between the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) located in Little Rock and the FDA's National Center for Toxicological Research (NCTR). The INTOX program is designed to train students at the Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy levels in toxicology and generally takes four to five years to complete.

Typically, INTOX students complete two years of course work at UAMS and then conduct approximately two years of dissertation research either at UAMS or with adjunct faculty at NCTR through a student research appointment.
