Thanks to a new software tool, we are now able to dramatically increase our upload of file unit and item level descriptions into ARC. These files are now keyword searchable.
To see files for any of the following series:
1) Click on: ARC Search.
2) Enter the ARC Identifier of the series.
3) Click on the "Go" button
4) Scroll down to the Includes File Units link and click on it.
5) After your results are retrieved, click the "See Hierarchy" button to see the list of file units for your series.

This series contains 24 file units pertaining to the Korean War.

ARC Identifier 820076: Merchant Marine Vessel Logs for the Ports of Portland and Portsmouth
ARC Identifier 820099: Merchant Marine Vessel Logs for the Port of Providence

These three series contain a total of 4,587 file units. Each file unit is a logbook maintained by masters of American merchant vessels for a voyage that ended in the port of Boston, Providence, Portland, or Portsmouth.
