Nanomanufacturing is a crosscutting activity of the Industrial Technologies Program (ITP). ITP's Nanomanufacturing research, development and demonstration (RD&D) focuses on development and deployment of technologies to cost-competitively produce uniform nanomaterials and incorporate the materials into manufactured goods. These new technologies will bridge the gap between basic research in nanoscale materials and their commercial production and utilization in energy-intensive manufacturing processes.

Solicitations

ITP conducts a competitive solicitation process to award cost-shared funding for R&D projects that will help to realize national goals for energy and the environment. Projects are performed by collaborative partnerships and must address both energy and cost savings, and industry needs.
