Office of International Programs
Advances public health worldwide in partnership with other FDA components, other U.S. agencies, foreign governments, and international organizations.
Office of Operations
Provides agency-wide services including information technology, budgeting, procurement, facilities, equal employment opportunity, and diversity management.
Office of Policy, Planning, and Preparedness
Advises key FDA officials on strategic direction, policy, regulations, legislation , planning and evaluation activities, and counterterrorism and emerging threats.
Office of the Chief Scientist
Serves as the agency's focus for scientific, medical, and other related activities. Also responsible for managing the FDA Commissioner's Fellowship Program.
Office of the Chief of Staff
Provides integrated policy analysis and strategic consultation to FDA top management on issues that affect significant agency programs, projects and initiatives.
Office of Chief Counsel
Provides legal advice and policy guidance for programs administered by FDA. Represents the agency in civil litigation, criminal litigation, and administrative hearings.
Office of Equal Employment Opportunity and Diversity Management
Oversees compliance with equal employment opportunities, diversity management, and conflict prevention and resolution.
Office of the Commissioner/Immediate Office
Provides centralized agency-wide program direction and management services to support effective administration and FDA's consumer protection efforts within its regulatory framework and to put available resources to the most efficient use.
