Franco-American program of urban murals
Three murals have just been born in Bagnolet, Bondy and Villiers-le-Bel. For 25 years, the Mural Arts Program (MAP) of Philadelphia has helped local communities paint high quality murals, building social cohesion and improving the immediate environment. Today this program is being carried out in France.

"4-14" Festival
For its first edition, 4-14 Festival, referring to American and French National Days, gathered 15,000 visitors in Dijon and hosted American and French chefs for a few days of culinary experiences and musical performances.

A Bridge to Freedom : 1789-2009 Tribute to Thomas Jefferson
Before departing for the United States in 1789, Thomas Jefferson travelled through France over thousands of kilometers to explore the entire French territory. The American Embassy Paris is a partner in the project “Les ponts du Coeur” through which plaques are being placed throughout France in up to 40 towns visited by Thomas Jefferson.
