Welcome to USAID in Lebanon.

The U.S. Agency for International Development has worked in Lebanon since 1951. Our long-term commitment reflects the strong friendship between the American and Lebanese people. Today, our work focuses on small and medium enterprise development, the environment, support for democratic systems and job training.

This website is designed to give you basic information about our program, strategic areas of focus and success stories. It also offers information on how community organizations, businesses and others can join in our efforts.  As we move forward this next year we will be emphasizing public-private partnerships.
