DCMA
Small Business

DCMA and the Small Business Program Division’s objective is to evaluate and analyze how well prime contractors ensure small businesses receive a fair proportion of and a maximum practicable opportunity to participate in prime contractors' subcontracts. Our strategy to achieve this objective is to actively assist customers in developing aggressive but reasonable subcontracting plans for their contractors and review contractor compliance with subcontracting plans. By doing this, the Agency helps foster business innovation and new technology, supports the war fighter, strengthens and sustains the military and economic industrial base and promotes private enterprise.
