Groundfish Management
Policy
The Council
revised its BSAI and GOA
groundfish management policy in 2004. The policy contains a
management approach and 45 objectives, which are categorized by goal
statements.
The Council
adopted a workplan of priority
actions to implement the management policy. The
status of this workplan is updated at every meeting, and presented under the Staff
Tasking agenda item.
The Council
annually reviews the management objectives and the workplan.
