El Cajon - On Wednesday, September 2, 2009, Congressman Duncan Hunter will be hosting a community job fair in conjunction with the East County Career Center and the Employment Department at the Ronal Reagan Community Center in El Cajon.  The event is scheduled for 9 AM PT to noon PT, and open to all interested individuals and qualified companies.

Americans should pay closer attention to California's ongoing -- albeit temporarily resolved -- fiscal crisis.  What is happening in California may well forecast our nation's fiscal future if we don't act to prevent the same effects resulting from the same fiscal irresponsibility.

Mr. Speaker, since Mr. Obama became president, the economy has been his focus.  But, through executive orders and not so subtle hints in recent speeches, this Administration has put some effort into making America less safe than it was two months ago.
