Full Description: Provides a slide presention that describes how the Treasury Department addressed a lack of policies and procedures safeguarding unauthorized removal and access of records (paper and electronic) by employees and departing officials. It cites Treasury Order 101-31 which established policy on requests by departing and former employees to access, or remove documentary materials (records) from the Department of the Treasury, and prevented unauthorized access or removal of records. This order is included in the Toolkit (See Related Tools - ID # 286.) The slides provide an overview of the process used at the Treasury Department when officials depart and includes examples of forms used in that process including the Documentary Materials Removal / Nonremoval Certification and the Request for Access to or Removal of Documentary Materials.
