Part 5. Accessing NARS-5 Information

The ACCESSION RECORDS SCREEN allows the requester to access and scroll through the records center automated inventory control system. The requester can then select a record to view the full NARS-5 record, and create a reference request. The records in the NARS-5 database are sorted by accession number and subgroup. Both the accession number and subgroup must be transmitted with the reference request record.

Enter the NARS-5 Screen

At the REFERENCE REQUEST SCREEN, press F2 (range) to review broken out accession information. The ACCESSION RECORDS SCREEN appears.
