INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION POLICY ADVISORY COMMITTEE

TO HOLD FIRST MEETING


WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The International Competition Advisory Committee (ICPAC) will hold its first meeting Thursday,

February 26, 1998.

The Committee was established by the Department of Justice to provide advice regarding issues relating to international trade and competition policy.

The agenda for the meeting will include an overview of international antitrust enforcement, enforcement against international cartels, international merger review, and the relationship between trade and competition policies.
