month of training Romanian engineers to purify water
MIHAIL
KOGALNICEANU, Romania (Aug.
24, 2009) -- Twenty-five military personnel from the Romanian Land
Forces’ 3rd Engineer Battalion completed a month of water purification
training with U.S. Soldiers from Bamberg, Germany's 240th Quartermaster
Company, Aug. 20.
The training on the Reverse Osmosis Water
Purification Unit is just one of several combined training missions that
make up this year's Joint Task Force-East training rotation. Five
Soldiers from the 240th deployed here for the rotation trained the
Romanian troops, who are assigned to the 3rd's water purification
detachment, at the Capu Midia Training Camp in the village of Corbu,
near the Black Sea.
