Personally Identifiable Information can be used to distinguish or trace an individual's identity. Examples include: names, social security numbers, or medical records. Personally Identifiable Information also includes data that, when combined with other ID info, can be linked to a specific individual. All USDA employees and contractors are responsible for protecting the privacy of all USDA employees and customers.
