Advanced Network Vulnerabilities Assessment

Program Overview
This course explores general techniques used to exploit vulnerabilities and demonstrates tools that simplify the process.

Key Objectives
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to identify general techniques used to exploit vulnerabilities.

Instructional Format
Hands-on computer lab combined with lectures and class discussion.

Duration
Four and one-half days.

Level
Advanced.

Target Audience
DSC Bank Examiners who perform IT examinations.

Prerequisites
Attendees should have UNIX and Windows competency and a thorough understanding of security principles. This course explains complex principles and is intended for advanced information technology examiners. Attendees must have taken the iNet+, Security+, and Network+ courses. This is a highly technical class. Attendees should have an advanced level of knowledge of information technology and security concepts. Attendance at this class is at the discretion of your Regional IT ARD.
