"Doing Business with the FDIC" Seminars Recent changes in the economic conditions of the financial services industry have impacted the FDIC’s contracting opportunities and processes. To address these conditions the FDIC is conducting the following “Doing Business with the FDIC” seminars. Seminar Locations
Who Should Attend? Minority- and Women-Owned Businesses (MWOBs) who have the capability and capacity to provide Receivership Assistance (Facilities, Asset Management, Claims, Investigations, Settlements, Personnel Administration, Environmental Due Diligence, Franchise Marketing), Legal Services for Owned Real Estate and Asset Dispositions, and other Financial Services (Accounting, Appraising, Auditing, and Auctioning). Registration To reserve a space, you must RSVP by February 20, 2009 to attend the Dallas event and by March 2, 2009 to attend the event in either Arlington or Irvine. Submit your RSVP by sending an e-mail to Howtodobus@fdic.gov providing the name of your company, the name of the representative, and the location of the seminar you wish to attend. Your RSVP must be confirmed by return e-mail from the FDIC BEFORE you can attend. The event is being sponsored by the FDIC’s Office of Diversity and Economic Opportunity and the Division of Administration. It is absolutely FREE of charge.
