Call Reports
The FDIC collects, reviews, analyzes, updates and maintains Reports of Condition and Income data submitted by all insured national and state nonmember commercial banks and state-chartered savings banks on a quarterly basis.
 
The Report of Condition and Income data is a widely used source of financial data about a bank's condition and results of its operations.

Freedom of Information Act (FOIA)
The FOIA is a federal statute which affords any person the right to obtain federal agency records unless the records (or a part of the records) are protected from disclosure by any of the nine exemptions contained in the law or by one of three special law enforcement record exclusions.

Inspector General Hotline
The Office of Inspector General promotes the economy, efficiency, and effectiveness of FDIC programs and operations and protects against fraud, waste, and abuse to assist and augment the FDIC's contribution to the stability of, and public confidence in the nation's financial systems.

Examples of wrongdoing that should be reported include: contract and procurement fraud or collusion; misuse, embezzlement, or theft of government property or funds; bribery and acceptance of gratuities; gross employee misconduct; conflicts of interest; or other unethical or illegal activities. Individuals may report information openly, anonymously or confidentially.

Individuals who contact the Inspector General Hotline via electronic mail are not anonymous to Hotline staff and cannot be assured of confidentiality due to the non-secure nature of electronic mail systems.

The FDIC Public Information Center maintains a collection of FDIC current and historical public documents and information.
