Avian influenza – situation in Indonesia – update 36

The Ministry of Health of Indonesia has announced the death of a previously confirmed case of H5N1 infection. The 32-year-old male from Tangerang Municipality, Banten Province died on 29 January.

Of the 124 cases confirmed to date in Indonesia, 101 have been fatal.
