March 28: Earth Hour - a World Wildlife Federation event to turn off unnecessary lights for one hour starting at 8:30pm.

May 2: Española Valley Clean up Day - Meet at the Plaza de Española at 8:00am to join the annual city-wide clean up led by the Amantes de Flores, the City of Española, and other groups.

April 18: Keep Santa Fe Beautiful is once again helping to make a difference in Santa Fe by sponsoring the annual Great American Cleanup Day on April 18. Volunteers meet at the city's Operations and Maintenance Complex, 1142 Siler Road, from 7 to 9 a.m., to pick up bags and work gloves and receive assigned areas for picking up litter. Neighborhood and school groups also can pick up litter in their neighborhood or on their school campus. Afterward, beginning about noon, volunteers are invited to a picnic at Frenchy's Park on Agua Fria Street at Osage Avenue to thank volunteers who participate in the community clean up.
