Subject: Regulation P - Proposed Model Privacy Notice
In regard to requirement of two or more separate one-sided pieces of
paper, this requirement would be a burdensome and costly ruling for small
community banks, such as First BankAmericano. In addition to printing our
disclosure in English it is necessary for FBA to have Spanish notices
available for the limited English speaking customer.
Therefore, in view of the unreasonable increased expenses connected with
this proposal, we urge you to reconsider this section of the proposal. In
addition to sending out the annual disclosure, most banks have this
disclosure on their website.
