Note: Applicants for competitive grant awards must apply via Grants.gov. First-time users must first register before submitting their applications. The registration process takes 3-5 business days, so please plan accordingly.

Grants.gov does not support the Microsoft Vista Operating system. The PureEdge software used by Grants.gov for forms is not compatible with Vista. Also, Grants.gov cannot yet process Microsoft Word 2007 documents saved in the new default format with the extension ".DOCX." Please ensure the document is saved using "Word 97-2003 Document (*.doc)" format.
