Section 1252(e)(3) of the Energy Policy Act of 2005 (EPAct 2005) required the FERC to prepare a report by appropriate region, that assesses electric demand response resources, including those available from all consumer classes. Section 529 of the Energy Independence and Security Act (EISA) requires FERC to complete a National Assessment of Demand Response.
