Almost half of all new HIV infections
in developing countries are among 15- to 24-year-olds. Girls
are particularly vulnerable. USAID activities are using media
campaigns, peer counseling, life skills training, and interventions
for youth in particularly vulnerable circumstances to reach
youth with prevention messages and help them develop the skills
necessary to protect themselves. Learn
more about USAID's HIV/AIDS programs for youth.
