All users are required to register for an ASSIST-Online user
account in order to access the system. Registration data
is used by DAPS, Philadelphia to establish the correct type of
account to manage and audit customer activity. ASSIST-Online accounts are free to all users requiring
access to specifications and standards information.
Note #1: All non-government customers (contractors, industry organizations, etc.) must
register using the Agency selection of "Other (Commercial)". This applies to
organizations providing direct support to the government. Service accounts are for U.S. military services only.
Note #2: Customers that have been provided an account/password and have trouble
accessing the system should refer to Frequently Asked Questions for possible reasons
and solutions. Customers that continue to have problems or have forgotten their passwords
should contact the ASSIST Help Desk at 215-697-6396 [DSN: 442-6396].
Note #3: Please check your e-mail address prior to submitting your application. If the e-mail
address is incorrect, you will not receive any correspondence regarding the approval of your request and may result in
your account being inactivated.
Note #4: After entering all of the appropriate information below, click the "Submit"
button only once in order to complete your application. Clicking the "Submit" button more than
once will result in multiple application submissions which will be subsequently rejected/disapproved.
