New Leadership Takes Helm of Navy Judge Advocate General's Corps
The U.S. Navy's Judge Advocate General's (JAG) Corps held a change of office ceremony on August 14, at the Washington Navy Yard. During the traditional change of office ceremony, presided over by the Secretary of the Navy, the Hon. Ray Mabus, VADM Bruce MacDonald retired and was relieved by VADM James Houck who became the 41st Judge Advocate General of the Navy. RADM Nanette DeRenzi became the first female Deputy Judge Advocate General and Commander, Naval Legal Service Command. Listen to the speeches from the ceremony on JAG Radio.
