    New Competitions Aim for the Moon!

    Earth's moon as photographed from the International Space Station. Two new competitions aimed at lunar exploration are gearing up:

    Teams of undergraduate and graduate students from U.S. colleges or universities can compete in the Lunabotic Mining Competition, designing systems that could be used for future lunar excavation.
