Use the search box at the top of this page for a demonstrations of new functionality for EPA search:

Autosuggest will suggest queries as you type. The list of suggestions is extracted from web taxonomies, Explore by Topics and ETSS. It is implemented using Scriptaculous/Prototype libraries.
Spell checker will suggest correctly spelled words if you type a word that is not the dictionary. Our local dictionary is built from a standard English dictionary, plus environmental and EPA-specific words and acronyms from the web taxonomy, ETSS, WEBI and ESRI. The spell-checker is implemented using Jazzy.
