Mission Statement
The Veterinary Medical Informatics program will provide expertise to International Health Terminology Standards Development Organization for evaluation of SNOMED-CT® relative to its coverage of veterinary nomenclature and for the addition of new concepts that relate specifically to veterinary medicine.
The Veterinary Medical Informatics program will provide, on a contract basis, expertise to organizations and individuals who intend to apply SNOMED-CT® to electronic communication of veterinary medical information.

Discussion Forum A discussion forum for SNOMED-CT® veterinary content, and application to veterinary medical record systems.
NAHLN Terminology Services A website to support training for and participation in the National Animal Health Laboratory Network (NAHLN). It includes a private discussion forum for terminology issues arising during the development and testing of NAHLN version 2.0.
