Industry Analysis, an office of Manufacturing and Services within the International Trade Administration, seeks to

  • Develop and disseminate trade and economic data and
  • Provide objective, consistent research and analysis that examines issues affecting U.S. manufacturing and services competitiveness in domestic and global markets, so as to
  • Facilitate sound policies that contribute to U.S. economic prosperity.

The Office of Competition and Economic Analysis evaluates potential effects of government policies on industries.

The Office of Trade and Industry Information seeks to provide a solid infrastructure of trade and industry data to support the development of national trade policies.

The Office of Trade Policy Analysis seeks to maximize U.S. gains in trade negotiations.
