Judging for the 2008 Keith L. Ware Journalism Awards Competition was conducted in early March of 2008 at the Pentagon. A panel of 29 professionals from the commercial media, academia, Department of the Army Public Affairs and the Department of Defense Public Affairs community reviewed more than 600 entries in print and broadcast categories. First place winners entries in select category are eligible to compete in the DoD Thomas Jefferson Awards Program. The results of that competition will be released in mid-April.
