Biography

Dr. Chaturvedi received a DVM in 1999 from the Andhra Pradesh Agricultural University, India, an MPH (epidemiology) in 2002 and his Ph.D. (epidemiology) in 2004 from Tulane University. He joined the Infections and Immunoepidemiology Branch as a post-doctoral fellow in 2005 and became a tenure-track investigator in 2009. He is a recipient of the Intramural Research Award (2005), Fellowship Achievement Award (2006), NIH Fellows Award for Research Excellence (2006), and Outstanding Research Paper by a Fellow Award (2007).

Research Interests

My research focuses on elucidating the role of infections, inflammation, and immunosuppression in cancer etiology.
