The Environmental Maps (E-Maps) site is no longer available.

You can obtain the same information at our Enterprise Geographic Information System (EGIS) site, http://egis.hud.gov/egis/ Here's how:

  • From the EGIS home page select "Map Your Community".
  • Enter city/state, zip code, or address (it's suggested that you don't select a state, because the map will cover too large an area to show icons.)
  • A map of the location with tools will appear. On the legend on the right, you will see "Environmental".
  • Click on the plus (+) sign to the left and there will be seven map layers displayed. Clicked on the box next to any layer that you want displayed.
  • Click on "Refresh Map" to have the new map layers displayed.

Please contact us if you have any questions.
