Information on the H1N1 Flu Outbreak:
Given the current situation regarding the H1N1 Flu outbreak, we have compiled for your information a few resources to which you can refer if you have questions or are seeking updated information regarding the H1N1 virus. We encourage you to share this information with your partners and stakeholders.

Remember to follow these actions suggested by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) that can help prevent the spread of germs that cause influenza. Take these steps to protect your health:

  • Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you cough or sneeze. Throw the tissue in the trash after you use it.
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water, especially after you cough or sneeze. Alcohol-based hand cleaners are also effective.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth. Germs spread this way.
  • Try to avoid close contact with sick people.
  • If you get sick with influenza, CDC recommends that you stay home from work or school and limit contact with others to keep from infecting them.
