If you are an anti-war protestor...According to the San Francisco Chronicle, after meeting with a group of anti-war protestors, Speaker Nancy Pelosi said, "It's always exciting...This is democracy in action. I'm energized by it, frankly." (San Francisco Chronicle, 1/15/2006) A transcript posted on Netroots Nation, a coalition of liberal online activists, in 2008 Speaker Nancy Pelosi encouraged the group saying, "But please know how much I appreciate what you do. And what you do you make our democracy stronger, you make America more American, because of the vital participation in the process." (www.NetrootsNation.org, 7/19/2008) But if you’re an American citizen opposed to a government takeover of health care…"However, it is now evident that an ugly campaign is underway not merely to misrepresent the health insurance reform legislation, but to disrupt public meetings and prevent members of Congress...
