Mail Delay
Although mail delivery to the United States Capitol offices has resumed, the delivery process is still very slow and not yet back to normal. Directions
From Union Station Metro (Red Line):
Exit Union Station and walk across the plaza (Columbus Circle) toward the ring of state flags. Cross the street encircling the plaza and continue south on Delaware Ave., NE. (You will be heading toward the Capitol.) Follow the path diagonally left through the park to First street. Once on First Street, head slightly uphill towards the office buildings. You can either enter the Dirksen building at the corner of First and C St or turn left and head up C street towards 2nd and enter the Hart building C Street entrance. My office is suite 713 in the Hart Senate Office Building (SH-713).
From Capitol South Metro (Orange/Blue Line):
Follow 1st St. approximately 3 blocks (you will pass the Library of Congress and the Supreme Court on your right) until you cross Constitution Ave. Turn right on Constitution and the Hart Senate Office Building will be on your left. The most convenient entrance to the public for the Hart building is on Constitution Avenue. My office is suite 713 in the Hart Senate Office Building (SH-713).
