Audio/Video Events

This page provides free worldwide access via the Internet to live and pre-recorded webcasts of selected FCC events. All events are held in the FCC Commission Meeting Room (Room TW-C305, 445 12th Street, S.W., Washington, D.C.) unless noted otherwise. Links for live events will be activated approximately 5 minutes prior to the published start time. To display the link for the live A/V stream, you must update the page at the meeting’s scheduled start time by clicking on your browser's reload/refresh button. When the live A/V link is enabled (clickable), click on the link to connect your media player to the live media stream. All FCC webcasts are provided in RealMedia file format (How to Play our A/V Files). Any time an Internet user connects or reconnects during the broadcast, they will join the meeting in progress. All live broadcasts are recorded and are available for future playback through links in the A/V Archives box in the left-hand column of this page.

The goal of this workshop will be to explore various metrics or benchmarks for evaluating the various dimensions of broadband across geographic areas and across time.

Consumer Advisory Committee Meeting - 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
The purpose of the Committee is to make recommendations to the Commission regarding consumer issues within the jurisdiction of the Commission and to facilitate the participation of all consumers in proceedings before the Commission. At this meeting, the Committee will focus upon broadband and the development of the National Broadband Plan.
