Second in the 2009 Lincoln Bicentennial One Cent Program, the "Formative Years" design is now available in two-roll sets. The reverse, designed and sculpted by United States Mint Sculptor-Engraver Charles L. Vickers, depicts a young Lincoln reading while taking a break from working as a rail splitter in Indiana. The inscriptions are UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM and ONE CENT. The one-cent coins produced at the United States Mint at Philadelphia do not have a mint mark. This limited-edition cover—only 40,000 will be produced—is the ninth in the American Presidency $1 Coin Cover Series. The coin cover features two William Henry Harrison $1 Coins, one each from the United States Mint facilities at Philadelphia and Denver, from the first day of production from that facility—January 8, 2009 (Philadelphia), and January 5, 2009 (Denver).
