Access Working Capital Loans
Ex-Im Bank's working capital guarantee gives lenders the confidence
to extend short-term loans to small- and medium-size businesses
for their export funding needs.
Features:
- Eligible companies must be located in the U.S., have a postitive net worth, and at least one year operating history
- Loans can be transaction-specific or revolving; no minimum or maximum amount
- Loans can be used to purchase inventory, pay for labor and overhead and/or provide services destined for export
- Advance rates are up to 90% against export accounts receivable and up to 75% against exportable inventory (including work-in-process)
- Export-related inventory and accounts receivable are used as collateral
- Exports to certain countries, most military and defense items and exports with over 51% foreign content are ineligible
Indirect Exporters:
Ex-Im Bank supports indirect exports. Companies that produce goods or services that are sold to U.S. companies and are subsequently exported are also eligible to apply for working capital loans guaranteed by Ex-Im Bank.
